LANDFILL DRAINTUBE FTP

DRAINTUBE FTP - Final cover systems

Use

After operation, the landfills are covered by a final cover system It aims to limit the infiltration of rainwater into the waste (thus the generation of leachate) and to optimize the collection of landfill gas (LFG). DRAINTUBE® FTP provides rainwater drainage and impermeabilization of the final cover with a single product and a single installation.

This geocomposite results from the combination of DRAINTUBE® with a polyethylene geofilm.

The needle-punched polyethylene geofilm on the underside of DRAINTUBE® FTP limits the infiltration of rainwater through the final cover.

Benefits

  • Filtration of the cover soil layer
  • Effective drainage of rainwater
  • Limitation of the infiltration of rainwater through the final cover: less than 20%
  • Stability of the final cover
  • Easy installation with a single product to unroll
  • Cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution as it replaces granular layers
